CAUSE OF DISEASE,
Recieved July 22, 8.45 a.m. London, Yesterday. Sir Wm. Church, at a meeting of the Imperial cancer research fund, said cancer was not catching, but was caused by a chronic irirtation of any particular part of the body. In a considerable number of cases it is natural and it will heal. Spontaneous malig nant growth had been observed in mice and men. and gives confidence in the discovery of curative methods.
