♦• OLD STORY REVIVED. [llY TKLWJRAI'H.—I'HKSS ASSOCIATION.] Christchurch, This Day. Mr T. E. Taylor, M.P., has agreed, as Mayor, to preside at Mr Masßpy's meeting next Tuesday. In a letter signifying his willingness, Mr Taylor referred to the statement in the House last November, when Mr Massey said he was behind the scenes in the Sed-don-Taylor case, Bnd if ever it fell to his lot he could tell a strange story in connection therewith. Mr Taylor expressed a hope that Mr Massoy will avail himself of the opportunity on Tuesday, or failing this opportunity to do so, he will tender Mr Taylor and his constituency a frank and generous apology.
