FIRE IN A MINE.
NEARLY QUENCHED. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION".] Reefton, This Day. The fire in Energetic mine is stated to be nearly quenched. The miners have sealed it up, and the fire is supposed to be confined to an inclined way. A fire dealing expert inspected the fire, and found that the gases were bad, but he hopes that the fire is extinguished.
