STRATFORD-ONGARUE.
RAILWAY SURVEY WORK COMMENCED. The survey oC the Stratford-Ongarae railway has been commenced from t! a Ongarue end. Last week a * party of eight surveyors arrived. They are engaged at present'in picking up the old route over which a trial survey was made about twenty years ago. It is stated on good authority that it id practically certain that a large number of men will be employed on the line in about three months time.
