A. and P. ASSOCIATION.

The Ladies' Executive Committee of the above Association met in' the. Secretary's office •on Wednesday afternoon last. Mrs Gadsby occupied the chair. The. suggested schedule of the home industry classes was revised, and suggestions made in connection with these classes. A large amount of routine business was gone through. The following ladies offered donations towards the home industries division: —Mrs Wolff, £1 Is, to be divided into four prizes for the following classes: —ss each for the best darning,knitted socks, shawls and child's petticoat shown. Mrs Mussen, £1 Is; Miss Mills, 10s 6d; Miss Robinsun, 10s 6d. The following were appointed a Ball Committee: —Mrs J. Jones, Mrs Mostyn Jones, Mrs Gadsby, Mrs N. C. Matthew, Mrs Dransfield, Mrs Huddlestone, Mrs Broadfoot, Mrs Somerville. Yesterday the Ball Committee met in the Secretary's office, when it was decided to hold a Ball in connection with the Association on Tuesday, July 4th; also that men's single tickets be ss, and ladies 2s 6d. It was resolved that the music for the ball be arranged. It was decided that the ball be advertised, and that tickets be printed. A gentlemen's committee, for the purpose of decorating etc., was appointed. The next meeting of the ladies' committee will be held in the Secretary's office on Saturday next, at 3 p.m.
