BOY SCOUTS.

The Executive Committee of the Scout movement met in the Chronicle" office on Monday evening last. Two Scouts were sworn in, and the new members enrolled. The kind offer of Mr Gillespie, of the Empire Picture Company to give half the takings at one of his picture shows to tho Scout movement, was accepted with thanks, and it was decided to suggest to Mr Gillespie that Monday, 19th inst.„ would be a suitable date. It was resolved that Dr l'axton be asked to give the Scouts occasional lectures on first aid.
