RAILWAY WAGES.
£50,000 INCREASE.
[KY TELE'JEAriI. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Weliington, This Day. It is officially stated by the Hon J. Millar, Minsiter for Railways, that £50,000 is to be expended upon increases salaries to railway employees this year. Those who do not obtain benefits from the £50,000 allocation will stand first for increases the following year.
