HIS OBJECT IN STANDING. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION'.] Hawera, This Day. Dr Pomare publishes a denial of the statement telegraphed from Te Kuiti that he is standing for Parliament to defeat the dominance of Mabuta. He says he only consented to stand owing to the repeated request of the tribes of the Western district for the redress of their grievances.
