ENTERTAINMENTS.
EMPIRE PICTURE COMPANY. The programme of moving pictures to be presented at Te Kuiti Hall on Monday evening next by the Empire Picture Company will be in every respect up to the standard of previous good ones put on in the past. The programme has drawn large audiences in Hamilton and Cambridge during the week, and is very highly commended by the papers in those two towns. Among other things to be screened will be a beautiful series_ of views of the principal streets, buildings, parks, gardens, etc., of Melbourne, and this picture alone in said to be worth the price of admission. Another line picture will show the opening of King George's first Parliament, and another depicting cavalry manoeuvres in Italy, both of which are splendid subjects. The dramatic, scenic, topical and comic items are all of a very high class order, and should attract the usual large audience on Monday evening next.
