The difference between males and females shows about 800 in favour of the former. Palmerston North, This Day. The population of the borough is 9991, and of Kairanga County 3877. New Plymouth, This Day. The population of the borough and suburbs is 7731. Auckland, This Day. The census of Waitemata County is 8660; inclusive of the borough of Birkenhead and Northcote, the figures are 11,793, against 7943 for previous census. Rodney County is 4257, against 3829. Waitemata electorate contains 15756, against 12,534.
