TE KUITI BOWLING CLUB.
A general meeting of the Te Kuiti Bowling and Croquet Club will be held a3 per advertisement in these columns on Friday evening next, and as the business is of a very urgent character, a full attendance of members is requested. A notification has been received from the Land Board giving a limited time to complete the purchase of the property now being used by the club, and it is imperative that a decision on this matter be arrived at immediately, or the club may find itself placed in a very awkward position.
The question of extending the lawns so as to provide room for two tennis courts will also be brought up for consideration, and if the members favour the porposal the tennis will be incorporated with the bowling and croquet.
The present caretaker is severing his connection with the club, in order to go farming, and members will have to decide what is to be done in regard to the appointment of a successor.
