STRINGENT CONDITIONS. By Telegraph.—l'vess Association.—CopyristU Received April 19th, 10.20 a.m. London, Last Night. Mr Winston Churchill, in reply to a question respecting Morrison's reprieve, said it did not imply there was any doubt regarding the prisoner's guilt or the Tightness of the verdict. Mr Churchill said the Aliens Bill introduced requires in certain specified cases two sureties for good behaviour for five years. Those already resident for five years were exempted from this clause. The penalty for returning after the expiration was twelve months imprisonment the first time, and two years the second. Mr Churchill added the Government were introducing a Pistol Bill in the House of Lords. (Laughter) It requires aliens to obtain a permit to keep | pistols and also enables their premises I to be searched.
