BOWLING.

The Easter tournament of the Auckland Provincial Bowling Association was completed on Monday last. The local teams which played in the tournament were as follows tives: Spencer, Lissaman, Dransfield and Power. First Year Players: Smith, Verrall, Stevens and Matthew. The executive team played in eight matches, out of which they won four and only lost one or two of the other games by very small margins. The first year team played five matches, three were won and two lost. The Otahuhu team won the executives' match and Onehunga the first year players' match. The weather throughout the tournament was rather blustery, the wind being strong and rain falling. This somewhat spoilt the pleasure of the play, but otherwise the games were interesting, and the local teams may be satisfied with the good fights put up against the picked teams of the Auckland province.
