"CARLTON THE WIZARD."

"Carlton the Great." who will appear in Te Kuiti Town Hall on Tuesrsday evening, April 1-ith, should be well patronised by a crowded house. His star iiluison is entitled "Gloria," the name Gloria being given to a tree which the Indian magicians grow in the street. The audience see the tree start to grow from a tiny seed until it has grown to a tall magnificent tree bearing beautiful flowers. It takes some fifteen minutes to grow this mystic tree, and "Carlton the Great" claims to be the only European magician to hold this weird and mystic secret, and penorros it by special permission of the Indian Magicians' Club. Ail the rest of his programme consists of the latest Indian mysteries sucti as are performed at the C.-'lcutca Indian Mystic Halls. "Carlton the Great" will introduce cats, ducks, pigeons etc., anring his entertainment. TRANS-OCEANIC SPECIALTY CO. This delightful attracted a crowded house at Te Kuiti Town Hall last night. Grossi were wonderful, and Miss Nada Moret excellent in every way. _ Mr E. R. Martin, too, sang well. The combination appears again this evening.
