EMPIRE LIVING PICTURES. Another splendid series of moving pictures will be screened at the Te Kuiti Hall on .Monday evening next, by the Empire Picture Company. Prominent among them will be one of a most exciting order, called "The Little Station Agent." The scene of the story is laid in the Canadian Rockies, and shows the CanadianPacfic express travelling the beautiful gorges of that famed country. The whole plot is well conceived, and is brimful of excitement from start to finish. Two beautiful scenic pictures, and a very tine series showing the peculiar customs of the Hindu race will also be shown, as well as a large number of particularly amusing comics dramas, travel pictures, etc. Monday's programme will contain the finest set uf pictures yet produced by the company, and patrons can safely rely on a good evening's enjoyment. TRANS-OCEANIC SPECIALTY CO. A GOOD SHOW COMING. On Tuesday and Wednesday next, 11th and 12th April, Te Kuiti residents will be treated to a really firstclass entertainment by the abovenamed combination, who are direct from America, and have performed in every civilised country in the world. The party comprises some eight membres, and are headed by the greatest of vail novelty entertainers, Martinetti and Grossi, comedy surprise artists, whose act alone is well worth the price charged for admission. The Dunedin "Star" says: "Martinetti and Grossi and Miss Nada Moret were really worth the orchestra and ali the others put together, and the originality of their performacne raised a cheer like a thunder clap. Miss Nada Moret, a real enteratainer, who has had the honour of appearing before King Edward VII., also before the Duke and Duchess of Connaught, Princess Patricia, the Earl and Countess of Londesborough, and King George of Greece, conies to us with a great reputation from all the leading theatres of the world, and the newspapers speak of her in the most eulogistic terms. These artists are ably assisted by Mr E. R. Martin, basso, late of Fisk Jubilee singers; Black and Umbar, musicians and vocalists; Dancing Ed., America's foremost champion buck and wing dancer, and the World's Trio, of musical sketch artists, who appear in a musical play entitled "Hard Luck." Our readers wil do well to peruse the company's advertisement in our columns for fuller particulars.
