That the Anglican Church is fully alive to the needs of the King Country, is clear from the decision of the Standing Committee in forming the Ohura into a new home mission district. Hitherto it has been included in the Taumarunui district (Rev. 11. O. Hanby), but it is. now to be separated At present there is no priest available, but as soon as cms can be found this new work will commence.^ The enlarged goods shed at Te Kuiti was packed to its limits this week, and looks as though, even with nearly double the old capacity, it will be too small right from the start. We have the largest goods shed between Auckland and Palmerston North, but it is nut big enough. A nieeting of the committee of the proposed co-operative dairy for Te Kuiti was held last night in the "Chronicle" office, and of>o cows guaranteed. Some suggestions as to n ethod of financing the company were considered, and it was decided to go on with its formation.
