A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.

A meeting of the general committee of the King Country Central Agricultural and Pastoral Association was held in the Loan and Mercantile office on Wednesday night. There was a good attendance of members. Mr W. Gadsby presided. It was resolved on the motion of Mr R. M. Somerville and seconded by Mr I-I. Voyce, that this committee approves of the action of the executive in giving the extension of time to the sub-committee in regard to procuring a suitable show-ground for the Association, and that the executive be empowered to deal with any matters pertaining to the same, and completing negotiations if necessary. The freehold to be procured if possible. Mr Kelso moved, and Mr Darrow seconded, that the rules as submitted by the executive committee be adopted.- Carried. Thirty - live new members were elected.
