WAR IN THE AIR.

GREAT AEROPLANE PURCHASES RUSSIA BUYING HEAVILY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. —Copyright Received March 29, 9.40 a.m. London, Last Night. Three Russian agents are visiting a remarkable aero exhibition, now being held at Olympia. They contemplate spending £900,000 on three hundred aeroplanes for war purposes. They have already purchased eight Bristol biplanes, five Farrnan's and forty Bleriot's. The "Daily Mail" lays stress on the fact that if France went to war, she could place three hundred aeroplanes in the field, while Britain could only hasten the production of aerial fleets.
