FATAL FALL OF EARTH.
TWO MEN KILLED. While working in a railway ballast pit at Lake Road station near Ohaupo last evening, two men named George Lamie, aged 25, ; and A. Whisker, aged 34, i were killed by a fall of earth. A J third man, named Charles Davidson, was injured. All were single men. I An inquest wii! be held to-day.
