ACCLIMATISATION.
Messrs Moorhouse and Cochrane, of the King Conn try Aelimatisation Society, left for Hamilton today, where they will attend a meeting of the proposed new Waikato Society th).-; afternoon. They proceed to Auckland to attend a conference vi societies and roc) and gun clues on Friday, and to protest against the ptopo-a>i toreddo annexation of the King Country by the new Society At a meeting of the (inn Club last night the following resolution was carried unanimously, on the motion of Mr N. 0. Matthew and seconded by by Mr i'. Mora: "That this meeting of i.ho Te KniM dim Club pass a vote of oontidenco in iiie representatives o( the King Country Acclimatisation Society, namely Messrs Moorhouso and Cochrane, wdio are attending the meeting of the m-wly-fornied Waik:uo Society, and trust that their endeavours to retain the Auckland Society as, the parent bodymay bo successful."
