BOY SCOUTS.
I A Boy Scouts committee meeting i was held on Thursday evening in the i"Chronicle" office. Present: Rev. E. S. Wayne (chairman), and Messrs ■ Morgan, Dines, H. Matthew and H. j W. Atkinson. I It was decided to authorise the purchase of uniforms for the scouts up to the value of £lO 10s. Uniforms will be for each boy scout, and will be the property oil the patrol The ! secretary was also instructed to pre- ■ pare further subscription lists and circulate them in suitable places. ; The object is to invite shilling subi scriptions towards the purchase of ; uniforms. The scouts assemble this i afternoon on the Domain at 3 p.m.
