SOUTH AFRICAN TOUR. TASMANIAN MATCH DRAWN. Hobart, Monday. The return match between the South Africans and Tasmania was continued to-day. A feature of the play was the fine, free innings of Nourse and Strieker, who practically did what they liked with the bowling. The stand made by Windsor and Eltnaro. for Tasmania, was a brilliant effort, and staved off what looked like defeat. Following are the final scores:— SOUTH AFRICA. First Innings ... First Innings ... 195 Second Innings, total fur six wickets ... 216 Grand total ... 411 NEW ZEALAND VISIT OFF. Christchurch, Monday. Mr F. C. Raphael, hen. secretary of the New Zealand Crickec Council, has received a cable from Mr Fitzgerald, manager of the South African cricket team, stating that he regrets that it will be impossible to arrange for the team to visit New Zealand.
