AUCKLAND A PORT OF CALL. Melbourne, Sunday. Mr Fisher has received a cable from Canada expressing regret that the Commonwealth declines to-permit a New Zealand port of call. The Government of Canada has therefore, the cable says, decided to enter into a contract with Siy James Mills for five year(i iov a service between Canada <;nd Mew Zealand, (Sir James Mills, managing director of the Union Steamship Company, in a "wireless" interview confirms this. It is expected the new service will commence in August.)
