His Worship the. Mayor of Tc Kuiti (Mr .las. I'oddie) and the President of the Chamber of Commerce (Mr F. H. Sims) have wired to the General Mar.1 ager of Railways, Wellington, protesting against the exclusion of Te Kuiti passengers from participating in the cheap excursion rates on the night expresses. The message suggests that; for the Saturday night (Sunday 2 a.m.) at least, the facilities be allowed and if necessary extra carriages be put on the express to accommodate passengers from this district.
