KING COUNTRY RIFLE ASSOCIATION.

CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING. The first annual prize meeting is to be held at Taumarunui on Wednesday and Thursday, December 28th and 29th, when eleven different events will be contested. Te Kuiti is represented on the programme by sixteen prizes, aggregating £lO in value. Entries accompanied by 3s Gd may be posted to the secretary, Taumarunui, up to 8 p.m. to night. Entry forms may be obtained at the "Chronicle" office. Late entries are charged 6d extra. It is to be hoped the meeting will prove a success, and be the forerunner of many other successful meetings. If it can be arranged to hold the annual meetings at different centres each year it should stimulate interest.
