WAITOMO COUNTY COUNCIL. SPECIAL ORDER. In the matter of "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908," and the Acts amending same. IN pursuance and exercise of the power vested in it by section 15 of the "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908," and amendments thereof, and with the consent of the ratepayers of the Otorohanga-Pirongia Special Rating Area, in the Waitomo County hereinafter described, testified by a petition signed by not less than threefourths of tha ratepayers in the said Special Rating Area, the capita! value of whose properties as appearing on the Valuation Roll of the said County is collectively greater than the capital values of the properties of the ratepayers who did not so consent, the Waitomo County Council hereby resolves as follows:--FOR the purpose of metalling the Otorohanga-Pirongia road, the Waitomo County Council hereby authorises the raising of a loan of £750, at 3h per cent, per annum for a period of 36£ years, and declares that the cost of raising said loan and the first year's interest on the loan shall be payable out of the monies so raised. The OtorohangaPirongia Special Rating Area comprises all the properties situated within the following boundaries: — Commencing at a point the northeast of section 3e, No. 2, block 12, Pirongia,thence along the eastern and southern boundaries to the Turitea stream; thence along the Turitea stream to the southwest corner of section 2, block 16. Pirongia; thence along the southern boundary of said section 2, to the eastern boundary of sections 7, 10, and section S (native reserve), block 16; thence by the northern and eastern boundaries of 2b section 2b by eastern boundary of section 7, and section 2b sections 8 and 13a, block 1, and on the south generally by sections 9, 6, Q No. 3, block 4, Orahiri; thence by Otorohanga-Pirongia road to the Waitomo stream; thence along the Waitomo stream to north-west corner of section A; thence along the southern boundary to the Waipa river; thence by Waipa river to north-east cornet of section 4, block 12, Pirongia; thence by northern boundary to the Otorohanga-Pi-rongia road, thence by the Otoro-hanga-Pirongia road to commencing point. And notice is also hereby given that the said resolution will bu submitted to an Ordinary Meeting of the Waitomo County Council, to be held at the County Office, Te Kuitj, on Tuesday, the 13th day of December, 1910, for confirmation as a Special Order. SPECIAL ORDER. In the matter of "The Counties Act, 1908," "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1905," and of the Acts amending same respectively. fIIHAT in pursuance and exercise of J- the powers vested in it in that behalf by "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908," and "The Local Bodies Loans Amendment Act, 1908," and amendments thpreof, the Waitomo County Council hereby resolves as follows: — That for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £750, authorised to be raised by the Waitomo County Council under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of metalling the Otorohanga-Pirongia road, the said Waitomo County Council hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of One Penny (Id) in the Pound (£) upon the rateable values of all rateable properties in the Otoro-hanga-Pirongia Special Rating Area, comprising all the properties situated within the following boundaries: — Commencing at a point the north-east of section 3e No. 3, block 12, Pirongia; thence along the eastern and southern boundaries to the Turitea stream: thence along the Turitea stream to the south-west corner of section 2, block 16, Pirongia; thence along the southern boundary of said section 2, to the eastern boundary of sections 7, 10, and section S (native reserve), block 16; thence by the northern and eastern boundaries of 2b, section 2b, by eastern boundary of section 7 and section 2b sections 8 and 13a bik. 1; and on the south generally by sections 9, 6, Q No. 3, block 4, Orahiri; thence by Otorohanga-Pirongia road to the Waitomo stream; thence along the Waitomo stream to north-west corner of section A ; thence along the southern boundary of the Waipa river: thenoby Waipa river to north-east corner of section <), block 12, Pirongia; thence by northern boundary to the Otorohanga-Pi-rongia road; thence by the. Otorohanga road to commencing point. And that such Special Rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the Ist day of February and the Ist day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 3<U years or until the loan is fully paid all'; and subject in all rospucls to the provisions relating to a Special Kate raised as a security for a loan under the said Act. The interest to be paid on such loan is at the rate of Four Pounds Seventeen Shillings and Sixpence percent, per annum, and the interest thereon for one year, together with the cost of raising the loan is to be paid out of such loan. ,
