WAITOMO COUNTY COUNCIL. SPECIAL ORDER. In the matter of "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1905," and the Acts amending; same. J- power vested in it by Section 15 of "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908," and amendments thereof, and with the consent of the ratepayers of the Pukearuhe Special Rating Area, in the Waitomo County hereinafter described, testified by a petiti n signed by not less than three-foui hs of the ratepayers in the said Special Rating Area, the capital value of whose properties as appearing on the Valuation Roll of the said County is collectively greater than the capital value of the properties of the ratepayers who did not so consent, the Waitomo County Council hereby resolves as follows: — FOR the purpose of metalling the Pukearuhe road, the Waitomo County Council hereby authorises the raising of a loan of £IOOO at 3h per cent, per annum for a period of 36i years and declares that the cost of raising said loan and the first year's interest on the loan shall be payable out of the monies so raised. The Pukearuhe Special Rating Area comprises all the properties situated within tne following boundaries: — Commencing at the north - east corner of section 15, block 2, Otanake, thence along the eastern boundaries of said section 15, and 14, 13, 12, 11, and eastern and southern boundaries of section 9 of block 6, Otanake; thence by northern, eastern and southern boundaries of section 2, and eastern, southern and western boundaries of section 1 of block 10; thence along the western boundaries of sections 7 and 6; thence by southern, western and northern boundaries of sections No. 2 and 20 ; thence along the northern boundary of section 3; thence by western and northern boundaries of section 2; thence by northern boundary of section 15, block 6, to commencing point.

And notice is also hereby given thai the said resolution will be submitted to an Ordinary Meeting of the Waitomo County Council, to be held at the County Office, at Te Kuiti, on Tuesday, the 13th day of December, 1910, for confirmation as a Special Order. In the matter of "The Counties Act, 1908," "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908," and of the Acts amending same respectively. THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908," and "The Local Bodies Loans Amendment Act, 1908," and the amendments thereof, the Waitomo County Council hereby resolves as follows: — That for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £IOOO authorised to- be raised by the Waitomo County Council under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of metalling the Puk-iaruhe road, the said Waitomo County Council hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of Id and 13-16ths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable values of all rateable properties in the Pukearuhe Special Rating Area, comprising all the properties situated within the following boundaries: —

Commencing at north-east corner of section 15, bjock 2, Otanake, thence along the eastern boundaries of said section 15, and 14. 13, 12, 11, and eastern and southern boundaries of section 9 of block 6, Otanake; thence by northern, eastern and southern boundaries of section 2, and east--9 em, southern and western boundaries of section 1 of block 10; thence along the western boundaries of sections 7 and 6; thence by southern, western and northern boundaries of sections No. 2, and 20; thence along the northern , boundary of section 3; thence by western and northern boundaries of section 2; thence by northern boundary of section 15, block 6, to commencing point. And that such Special Rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable half-yearly on the Ist day of February and Ist day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36£ years or until the loan is fully paid off; and subject in ail respects to the provisions relating to a Special Rate raised as a security for a loan under the said Act. The interest to be paid on such loan is at the rate of Four Pounds Seventeen Shillings and Sixpence per cent, per annum, and the interest thereon for one year, together with the cost of raisintr the loan is to be paid out of such loan. And notice is also hereby given that the said resolution will be submitted to an Ordinary Meeting of the Waitomo County Council, to be held at the County Office, at Te Kuiti, on Tuesday, the 13th day of December, 1910, for confirmation as a Special Order.
