! A meeting of the above club was i held in the "Chronicle" office on I Thursday evening last. Mr N. C. ! Matthew (president) occupied the i chair. A good number of members ; were present. ! The allotting of trophies for the ! season's play was decided by ballot, j and resulted as follows: —President's i trophy (for the most consistent player : during the past season), H. Feary; Mr j E. J. Thomson's trophy was awarded I to H. Cleaver, the result of the ballot showing that he was the second most I consistent player. The result of the ballot was received with applause. Final arrangements were made for the match, Married v. Single, to be played to-day,
