THE VIVIENNES.

A treat is in store for the residents of Te Kuiti to-night, we are assured by the management, by the way of a visit of the Viviennes and Pybus Bioscope Company. The company is headed by Miss Constance Vivienne, who comes to us with some years' experience, having played such "leads" as Lady Sangazuro in Gilbert Sullivan's "Old Guard," "Yeomen of the Guard," La Mascotte, etc, and is a soprano of no mean order, while her boy impersonations always captivates her audience. Miss Eileen Stanford is also a member of the company, her military specialities and Dutch tujns are reported as being very good. Mr Will Vivienne, the comedian of the company, is an artist of the first order, and his quaint comicalities keep his audience in roars of laughter, while his London successes have been the hit of the season. Miss Dorothy Vivienne is a clever child performer, her waif turns completely capture her hearers and sets them in a whirl of laughter. Mr Harry Delroy is tho tenor of the company. The Pybus bioscope depicts special imported films which hitherto have not been shown in New Zealand, making the performance complete and up-to-date. Judging from the merit of the company they should be greeted by a bumper house on their vißit tonight.
