A Suggestion.

Sir, —Recognising that you areovcr ready to receive suggestions in regard to the commercial and other interest* of Te Kuiti, I beg to suggest that a postal box be placed at the local railway station forthe reception of letters. At present the mails per the express trains clnsr> at 7.30 p.m., which doea not enable business men to post letters after that hour to catch the mail trains. The proposed box could be cleared by each postal official travel* ling by those trains. If this proposal were adopted by the authorities a boon would ba conferred on the public.—■ I am, etc., E, H, PETUEIiICK.
