King Country Requirements.
To the Editor. Sir, —Kindly allow me through tho columns of your valuable paper to express rtiy appreciation, and also of my fellows settlers, for the manner in which Mr F. C. Stuart, who represents Otangiwai on the Ohura County Council dealt with the Minister of Public Worka over the unnecessary delay for which he is responsible in conneciton with the expending of the rond grants. Mr Stuart, who has the honour of represenitng the largest riding in the County, will always ho remembered as the only member of the Council who has dared to challenge tho Hon. R. McKenzie, and expose his methods of dealing with local bodies in connection with Government road grants. 'The Otangiwai ratepayers have every reason to feel proud of the man that they selected to represent them on the Ohura County Council, for, in selecting Mr Stuart they have chosen a man wlid is not afraid when the occasion arises of expressing his opinion. He ha 3 proved that, apart from his accomplsihrnenls as a Highland dancer, piper and all-round entertainer, that he is the right man in the right place and well able to champion his fellow settlers' grievances.— I am, etc., .OTANGIWAI RATEPAYER.
