SHEEP ON FOOTPATHS.
To the Editor. Sir, —Being altrost a stranger in the district, and a resident on the west side of Rora street opposite the Domain, kindly permit me to state that I am not the author of a letter which appeared in your issue of Saturday last re some stray sheep and signed "Pedeatrian." I always sign my name to any letters I write a\id my language is always fit for publication, even when I come home am, etc., P. J. QUIRK. Te Kuiti, July 4th, 1910.
