The learn of Maoris who are to tour Australia under the auspices of tho Amateur Rugby Union, has now been chosen. The players have been picked solely from the descendants of tho Maori race and include some notable pi-.vers. The personnel of tho team is as follows: Backs. W. Stead (.Southland), K. Dansey (Otago), M. Piki (Canterbury), M. Winiata, 11. Rawiri (llorowhcnua), 11. Poananga (Auckland), G. Rogers (Rotorua), R. Pitihira (Manawatu), Kaipara (Poverty Bny), U. Nuku, Tnmati Whakatane and J. Lewis (Hawkc'sßay), 11. Harrison (Thames). Forwards.—-J. Prince (Southland), C. Ahipene (Otago), W. Winiata (llorowhenua), A. Takcrangi (Wanganui), Tamu, J. Pine, J. Martin (Taranaki), W. Cunningham, J. Hall (Auckland), T. Pelanc (Rotorua), B. Phillips (Tauranga), W. Burnett, R. Wirepa and B. Turei (Poverty Bay).
