OHUKA VALLEY.

Own Correspondent. Dr Tatchmore has arrived to act as medical officer for the Ohura Medical Association, and a tea party is to be organised to introduce Dr and Mrs Latchmore to the settlers at an early date in the Mangaroa Hall. Work in connection with the forming of streets in the township has been suspended by the Council, as at present the Public Works Engineer is preparing plans for certain streets, and the Council justly considers that it is advisable that one general scheme be laid out under one engineer so as to have one level fixed for draining the town. Application is being made to the Minister to have this done.
