How to Vote.
When entering the Public Hall, where the polling booth is, you will receive two voting papers —one for the Mayor and the other for the Council. Decide before going to the polling booth who you intend to vote for. Place a X against one name on the Mayoral voting paper. Place a X against the name or names of the candidates on the Council voting paper. You cannot vote for more than 9, but may vote for fewer than that number. Put nothing else on the voting papers, or they will be spoiled, but fold them up and place them in the ballot boxes —one for the Mayor, the other for the Council.
