Messrs Dalgety and Company, Auckland, have received the following cable from their London office, under date 17th inst.:— "Frozen mutton—Good demand since our last wire, prices are higher; arrivals clear as landed. Frozen lamb —Consumptive demand active; prices are very firm, unchanged, except that if any change in price taker, place it will be in favour of sellers; frozen mutton and lamb selling so freely we anticipate heavy arrivals later will be cleared more readily than was anticipated; fores jd higher. Frozen beef —Since our last wire Ad per lb higher; owing to temporary shortage of chilled, large arrivals are expected shortly, expect a reaction.
