Frozen lamb —Consumptive demand active; prices are very firm, unchanged, except that if any change in price taker, place it will be in favour of sellers; frozen mutton and lamb selling so freely we anticipate heavy arrivals later will be cleared more readily than was anticipated; fores jd higher. Frozen beef —Since our last wire Ad per lb higher; owing to temporary shortage of chilled, large arrivals are expected shortly, expect a reaction. Tallow—Beef in general since our last wire :!d to (id higher; beef mixed in general ditto; other descriptions lirm at last quotations. Bones-—XI 17s (id per ton. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report:—At Cambridge, on Friday, 18th inst., we yarded 720 head of fat and store cattle, also sheep and pigs. Buyers were present for all classes, and, with u good demand, nearly every uen changed hands.
