TE KUITI SPORTS CLUB.

A meeting of the above Club was held in the "Chronicle" office on Monday evening last. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed.

It was resolved that the chips and spare blocks, left over from the sports be sold by auction on Saturday next, and that Mr. Berkahm be instructed to get same ready for auction. Resolved that the secretary be instructed to obtain permission from the Domain Board to leave the choppirg ring as fenced, and also that the Club's posts and wire be left upon the ground as Erected, for the future use of the Club. The following are the totals for the points prizes:—■ Woodchopping and sawing events, G. Morrison points, Ist; Mclvor and Tyler were next in order with five points each and Bcnbow four points. Athletic events: T. Leahy 13 points, Ist; W. McColl obtained 11 points, W. Campbell eight points. Rehi Kiri and Timmons with six point each were next in order. The points were counted as follows: —First five points; second three points; third, one point.

Mr. G. Morrison was declared the winner of the woodchopping and sawing events, and receives the cup presented by Messrs Chilcott and Albrechtsen. T. Leahy wins the points prize for the athletic events and receives a gold medal presented by Messrs Barraud and Williams.

It was resolved that the prize for the weight-guessing competition be divided between the two winners, eacli having guessed the exact weight of the sheep. It was resolved that a trophy lie ob* tained with Mr. Langmuir's donation, for the winner of the boys' high jump.

Resolved that Mr. .Tones I'rosser's trophy bo given to the winner of the girl's race.

Several accounts were passed for payment. 1 It was resolved that Mr. V. Kirk be asked to audit the Club's accounts.
