MANGAROA.

Own Correspondent.

Consequent on the death of Dr. Rowlands, a public meeting was convened by the Ohura Medical Association to consider the advisability of procuring an extended guarantee from the settlers to a medical officer for the Ohura, and on February 23rd, a very representative body of settlers met in the Mangaroa Hall.
