TE KUITI RACING CLUB.

A meeting of the above Club was held in Hattaway's Hall, on Monday evening last, when a fair number of members were present. Mr N. B. Lnsk was voted to the chair.

The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. The following new members were elected .-■— Messrs G. J. Heard, Karl Erikson, J. 11. Garrett, J. McLuckie, D. C. McDonald.

Resolved that the report and balance-sheet be taken as read.

The following officers were elected: —Patron, W. T. Jennings Esq., M.P.; President, J. T. Hotet; vico-Prcsi-dents, E. 11. Hardy, Major Lusk, R. Cotter, P. Iredalo, and T. E. Foy; Committee, N. B. Luak, E. C. Falwasser, N. C. Matthem A. D. MeCardle, V. S. Hattawas N. Wallace, C. J. Heard, W. Thorp, and E. J. Thomson; Hon. Surgeons, Drs. Zobi'l and Fullerton; Hon Secretary and Treasurer, A. P. llowarth.

It was resolved that a hearty votn of thanks bo passed to Mr A. \<\ llowarth for the able and thorough manner in which he had carri",d out his duties as secretary and 'treasurer during tho pa')t year. \ X Resolved-that the Cflfelinittoe be empowered to J'ur the Club, and that the tiafctesjji"nubni ; t(U<l to a general meeting. >' ] ; : ;': v .

Reference was made,, by the chairman to the loaa the Club has unstained through tho death of Mr N. I Hunt, who was a Vice-President of the Club.

A* vote of condolence was passed, and the secretary was instructed to write to Mr-) Hunt the Club's sincere sympathy with her in her bereavement. j

Messrs Lusk, Falwaaser, Hattaway, McCardle and Wallace!were appointed a cojminittee to go into the matter of arranging the course for this year's meeting, with power to act. The Secretary was instructed to notify members that the current year's subscriptions are now duo. Th,e meeting closed with a vote of thanks to the chair.
