DISTRICT REQUIREMENTS
The request of settlors that Crown lands in the Kacaea district be thrown open for selection, owing to loss and inconvenience through stock straying away, haa been brought under the notice of the Minister for Lands ny Mr W. T. Jennings, M.F. The Minister replied to the effect that a report on the matter is being obtained.
! In reply to a request by the Member t'or an explanation of the delay in gazetting the'To Kuiti Borough. The Afiiiistcr of Internal Affair* informed Mr Jennings that the matter must go through certain' formalities, in order to allow all objections to be considered. The Minister stated that he is using all expedition in pushing the Borough m-nnnshls forward.
