ACCIDENT AT ARIA.

A young man named B. Banfield met with a rather serious accident at Aria on Friday last. He was using an axe and cut his foot badly, severing ono of the bones. He was being brought to Te Kuiti by Mr Jensen for medical treatemnt by Dr. Zobcl, and when close to Piopio the vehicle upset. Dr. Zobel was telephoned for from Piopio, and leaving Te Kuiti at midnight, attended the patient immediately on his arrival. Banfield was brought to Te Kuiti in the morning, and taken to Nurse Hattaway's Home, where ho was operated on, and is now doing aa well as can be epxccted.
