SUPPLEMENTARY ESTIMATES.
King Country Votes.
The following items of interest to the King Country appear on the supplementary estimates in connection with the Public Works Statement:—Purchase of Native lands, £30,000; maintenance of roads (additional) ,£10,000; destruction of rabbits and noxious weeds on Native lands, £2700; rates on Native lands, £700; rabbiting on unlet Crown land, £500; Ongaruo police station, £260; Mangaroa township formation of streets, £500; Ratanui township bushfelling, £175; Rangaroa Village, £SO; Otorohanga clearing, £SO; Te Kuiti courthouse, £600; Ohura Post Office, £700; Kawhia Post Office alterations, £250. The total vote for the North Waimarino block is £1423, and in addition a sum out of £741 available for Hikimutu loan block.
