Heavy fat wethers (shorn) made 17a to 18s; medium and light weights, 14s 4d to 15s; fat ewes. 12s 6d to 13s 6d; fat lambs. 10s 6d to 10s 9d; forward wethers, 8s 3d to 10s 6d. Pigs were much below late quotations; weancrs from 4s to 9s Gd; slips, 12s 6d to 225; goats, 20s each : fat steera. £6 to £6 15s; cblvcs, £3 6s to £3 10s; forward conditioneo cows, S3 to £3 153; yearling steers. £2 9s to £2 16*; yearling heifers 35s to 425; 15 to 18 month heifers £2 14s to £2 18s; 2 year dairy heifrc* £5 12s 6d; weaner calves 22s 6d to 26s 6d; dairy cows and heifers £4 15s to £6 10s; bulls £3 3s to £4 4s.
At Rangiriri on the 10th inst., we j had only a small yarding. 361 head of j cattle, and as far as prices go, had a ; really good sale. Very forward three and a half to four year steera £6 6s Gd { to £7 2s; good quality three year steers i in fresh conditiion £5 9s to £5 13a; j backward 3 year steers £4 16s; fat cows £4 to £5 ss; 18 month steers £2 9s to £2 14s; 15 month steers £2 17s 6d to £3 Is; yearling heifers £2 lis; [ weaner calves 25s to 28s; dairy cowa i and heifers £4 15s to £5 10s.
