CONCERT AT TE AWAMUTU

The third grand concert held under the auspices of the Te Awamutu Philharmonic Society took place on Wednesday evening in the Town Hall before a small but very appreciative audience. The orchestral and part singing items were all very well rendered under the able conductorvship of Herr E. Moeller, while the other performers showed themselves to possess an equal amount of musical ability. "Stars of the Summer Night," Philharmonic Society; song, "My Fairest Child," Miss Henderson; selection, "The Sentence." Philharmonic Orchestra. Part ll.—Selection, "Mikado," Orchestra; part song, "The Three Fishes," society; pianoforte solo, ''March from Faust," Mrs Brown; song. "My Treasure," Miss Henderson; violin duet, selection from "Alice," MessrsMoeller and Randrup; part songs, "The Shades of Night," and "Hail. Smiling Morn," Society; song, "The Trumpeter," Mr A. G. Warburton and selection "Bohemian Girl." Orchestra.
