Own Corrrspondent. Mra Govier, wife of the caretaker of the Accommodation House at WoitorooCaves, sailed for England by the lonic on Thursday 2nd inst. She is travel- - !ins: in company with Lady Ptunket, with whom she came to New Zealand some years ago. Visitors to Waitomo will greatly miss her kindly attention, which won for her the esteem of everyone ; and her toss is felt as a severe blow to Waitomo. Her children are travelling with her to England, where they are to be educated. Mr Govier, who has worked so much for the betterment of the "Coves" will proba&ly occupy hi 4 position for some time yet. As a guide he is well known and wiiety appreciated. The Hew House will shortly be opened, and Mr Govier will most likely receive the promotion be so much deserves.
