FOLEY AND BURTON PICTURE COMPANY.
The above Company opened their entertainment on Friday evening least to a fairly large audience, in the Public Hall. The evening was commence:] with a series of conjuring and sleigh: of hand tricks by Mr Fred. Foley, -vho is famous for his originality in ti i. art. The biograph film of the Life Napoleon was a treat, and gave h:s history from the Siege of Toulon in 1793, to his exile, and suLse'jueni death, on St. Helena in 1621. Dur:::.; the evening several song- v. -::o --v-:" rendered by Mr F. Godfrey. -h----second part of the programme cor.sir.ed of a ventriloquia! entertair.rr.cn: cy Mr Foley and his figure "The Lieutenant" which highly amused the younger portion of the audience. In t sketch Mr Foley introduced a beautiful cornet solo, v.'hieh '.vas greatly appreciated. The entertainment concluded with a humorous picture.
