The final of the Amateur Championship of the Dominion played in Auckland on Saturday last was won by Mr A. Duncan, of Wellington after a close game with J. Burns of Auckland. Mr Duncan won with 3 up and 1 to play. Clements won the professional championship with 3 up and 2 to play defeating F. Hood of Auckland.
