OTOROHANGA POLICE COURT.
At a sitting of th»« Policp Court on Tuesday last, brfoiv Mrwrs W. Vicary and C. J. Johnron, J's.P.. a young man named Hubert Duley a painter and sign writer was charged upon the information of B. Lc Prou, blacksmith, of Otorohanga, with having col I lee ted and converted to his own use the sum of 9s Gd. which the complainant alleged he did not authorise the accused to collect for him. The accused -wa-t undefended by counsel, and the complainant appeared for himself.
Aftrr a somewhat lengthy hearing the case was dismissed upon the accused making provisoin for the payment to Le Prou of the amount in question.
