WEDDING AT TE AWAMUTU.
A pretty wedding was solemnised at St. John's Church on Wednesday morning, the contracting parties being A. N. Wallace, eldest son of Mr W. Wallace of Auckland, and Miss Eugeine Ahier. eldest daughter of our old and respected town»man, Mr G. M. A. Ahier. The church was crowded to the door i, testifying to the popularity of the parties. The church was prettily decorated. The bride was charmingly attired in a gown of white silk taffeta with the usual veil and orange blossoms. Miss Marie Ahier and Miss Winnie Wallace sisters of the bride and bridegroom respectively were the bridesmaids, while Mr D. Wallace acted aa best man. The Rev. Clarke tied the nuptial knot securely. The ceremony was a full choral one. After the ceremony an adjournment was made to the residence of the parents of the bride where a sumptoos wedding breakfast had been prepared. Several congratulatory speeches were made. The bride's going away dress was a neat black serge, tailor made, wbkb suited her admirably. The happy couple left by the midday express en route for Auckland.
