NEHENEHENUI FOOTBALL CLUB.

The members of the above club and tbeir friends numbering about 60 people, met at Mr Harry Hetet's house on Monday evening last; the meeting being called in order to celebrate the winning of the "caps" banner and j cup by the Nehenehenui Club. A very pleasant evening was spent. A toast list was gone through, the toasts being interspersed with songs. The evening opened with songs by Miss Laura Hetet,who rendered''Sweet Bunch of Daisies," and "Baby Buntain," in a very attractive manner; song, MrS. Moore; toast, "Mr Cbilcott," to which Mr Chilcott suitably responded; song, Mrs Holland; toast "Messrs George and Harry Hetet"; song. MrT. Wier; toast, "Our Pakeha Friends"; duet, "The British Navy," Hira and Turei; toast;, "The Nehenehenui Club," responded to by Mr S. Moore and H. Hetet; song, Mr Moore; song, Mr Griffiths; violin solo, Mr J. Taylor; selection—piano, Duke Hetet; Maori Dance, Mrs Ngarongo; haka, j The Hetet family. The accompaniments were played by Hira and Duke Hetet. During the evening speeches were given by Messrs Harry Hetet, Pepene Eketone, George Het*t, Hauparoa, Tainui, Mr Chilcott, Mr Ford, Mr T.
